In issue 171 we have gone back to the original ethos of Link.
The magazine was born from the idea of connecting parents of small children and helping them through what can often be a challenging time. We print more articles now and the layout has changed but it is still volunteers that produce the magazine and we all hope that for our readers it still lives up to the same spirit!
The magazine includes a great feature on Post Natal Depression, as well as another focusing on what to do if you want to change careers whilst on maternity leave. With lots of parenting groups taking a break over the school holidays it can be hard to fill the long days: Becky’s experience with FoodCycle helped remind me to check out other community groups and the What’s On listings pages are always a great place to find fun family events. You’ll also find an extensive write up of ideas on just getting out and enjoying our fabulous Outdoor City!
LINK 171 also has all our regular articles like Moans from the Mancave, Grandma’s Corner book reviews and we have a new contributor: the hilarious Mumonthenetheredge who reminds us that we are all superhero’s…albeit slightly tired ones.
And with that, on behalf of the entire Link team, I wish you a very happy summer!
Watch out for LINK 171, appearing across south west Sheffield during the next few weeks.
